Loving Husband to Shelley (nee McMillan). Devoted Brother to Peggy and Marylou. Cherished Stepdad to Rachel Tammerand, Josh (Kat), and Joseph Noonan. Forever remembered Grampa to Ethan, Lila and Kalan. Beloved Brother in law to Tim; Cousin to Pam, Paul and the entire Dunn Clan; Uncle to Cindy McLuhan and Kelly Dubeau and Great Uncle to Kevin, Avery and all other grand nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Herb and Colleen Bremner and Sister Sharon.
Recently retired, John was a valued employee of Gerdau Steel- Cambridge. He is a treasured friend of Rick, Andy, Henry, Cracker and all the other guys he worked with during the 41 years.
John's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 11-12:45 p.m. for visitation at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900). Service to follow at 1pm. Due to COVID-19, access to the funeral home will be controlled and all visitors are required to call the funeral home in advance and reserve a spot in order to attend the visitation and service. All guests are required to wear a mask, provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff, and must observe physical distancing measures at all times. If you are feeling ill or have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days, please stay home.
