Im very sad to come across  artical in the paper .he was a customer of mine at a shop that did aftermarket accessories for jeeps trucks and cars .he sure loved his little custom parts to put on his vehicals .he was truly a gentleman. Such a beautiful person inside and out. I will truly miss him.having a coffee and chatting about things.Till we  meet  again jeff..love ya bud.you will always an forever have a spot in my heart.

Dear Isobel
We are so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing.  Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you at this sad time. 

Dan and I remember that once a year we would go to Greystones Restaurant,in Preston, for dinner. 
It would be Jeff and  Izzy's Anniversary Celebration, because Jeff knew the owner quite well, he would invite us to stay after for a Celebration drink on the house. 
We were part of the Camping section of the Pioneer Sportsmen Club back when Jeff and Izzy had their trailer there.
We spent many nights sitting around the campfire, kicking back ,having a Brew,
.....These were good times.



Jeff and Isobel were our next door neighbours for 17 years. He would always wave from the window, or shout out a greeting to me whenever I came , or left home. On warm, summer evenings, we would sit on their front porch and " shoot a breeze", as Jeff liked to say. Jeff was a very handy man and was always willing to lend a hand, or a tool. In the winter he often snowblowed the sidewalk for 2 neighbours up and down from his house ( myself included). In the summer he would surprise me with a nicely mowed lawn when I arrived from work, after a 12 hour shift. Jeff was a kind and caring man and we will miss him dearly. Rest in peace, dear friend!

   Jeff and I were OSCVI buds and we shared shop courses. We used to both leave the school and head for home for lunches and could beat the 12 o'clock foundry whistles. That was our time to talk and suggest the many things that come into a young man's head.
   We left high school and went our own ways and for years I would use his sister, Mary Jean, to catch up with how he was doing.
   The strangest of meetings came about one day in Kitchener.  Our son and I were walking up a street towards the coffee shop and when going past a building I heard "Fred" called out. There was Jeff in his shop coat walking out of the building towards us. 
Introductions were made and we shared our information but neither of us just did not take the time to go further with that shared information.   And as it is said, the older we get the faster time goes and now I, and we, have lost a good friend.
Condolences to all.  Memories will keep him close.

When our family would visit with Jeff & Isobel, he always showed up in his latest set of wheels proud as could be and had a funny story or two to share.  That and sharing his most recent electronic gadget or gizmo.  He was so kind to my grandma, his Aunt Olive too.  He was a gentle soul and will be missed...
So sorry that I won't be back from Ireland until after the funeral.
