1933-2017

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our amazing mom, wonderful wife, loving nana and great grandma.

Jane E. Samms slipped away peacefully into the arms of her Lord at St. Mary’s General Hospital on Tuesday August 15, 2017 in her 84th year.

Beloved and devoted wife for 64 years to Jim Samms. Loving mother to daughters Carol Linseman and Laurie Wohlgemut. Nana to Adam Linseman and Brandon & Ryan Wohlgemut. Great Grandma to Ethan and Parker. Daughter of the late Olive and John Clarke. Predeceased by two sisters, brother and granddaughter Emma. She faithfully attended First Baptist Church Waterloo. She always enjoyed serving the Lord for many years as organist of Bethel Baptist Church. Expressions of sympathy may be received as donations to First Baptist Church (Super Sixties).

Visitation will be held on Sunday August 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre (1001 Ottawa St. S. 519-743-8900) a Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 21 at 12:30 pm from First Baptist Church (306 Erb St. W. Waterloo) Interment at Parkview Cemetery.
