James Lacey

Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital in his 81st year. Survived by his wife Helen (nee Schlueter) of 55 years, children Kimberlee (Robert) Gondosch, Bradley (Marilyn), and Trevor (Horacio). Papa to Rebecca, Breanna and Victoria Gondosch, and Julie, Amy and Eric Lacey. Son of the late Harold and Irene Lacey, brother of Douglas (Evelyn) and David (Herta). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Jim enjoyed 5 pin bowling, Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays, and singing in the Jubilation Male Choir. Jim was employed at Mutual Life for 41 years. A Celebration of Jim’s life will be held at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7 on Saturday March 15, 2014.Please join the family for a memorial visitation from 10-12 with the service to follow. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow at a later date at Parkview Cemetery.
