Beloved husband of June Curry (nee Dempster), loving father of Richard of Kitchener and Duane (Nancy) of P.E.I., proud grandfather of Benjamin Curry, Dustin (Gillian) Curry, Dian Curry, and Nicole Curry, dear brother of Clarence (Barb), Gerald, Howard (Lorraine), Theodore (Rena), Robert (Sandy), Alice (Keith), brother in law of Neil Spahr. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Predeceased by parents, Neven and Luella Curry, son Brian, sisters Jean (Roy Evers), Isabell (Jim Kaster) and Betty.
Born July 25, 1929 in Perry Sound, Ontario, Jack, as the eldest brother, took up the duties of his father, who had to find work when he was up North. But his father relieved him of that duty when he was able to live at home. Jack moved from Orrville Ontario, near Parry Sound, to Waterloo in 1944 and settled with the family at the “Brubacher House” on Columbia Street. He worked for many years at Kaufman Rubber as a Stationary Engineer.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener, on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 1 p.m., with interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
