Henry Matys

MATYS, Henry – Henry passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday, May 28th, 2012, his 96th birthday. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Camilla, and his beloved daughter, Henny Busse. Loving Opa of Cindy Gregory (Dave), Danny and Albert Reinhardt, and fondly remembered by Grace. Henry was a proud Great-Grandfather of 7 and Great-great-grandfather of 2.

He worked in construction for Doug Owens Construction for many, many years until his retirement.

Family and friends will gather for a time of sharing memories on Thursday evening from 7-9pm at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army.
