Heather Millar

Beloved wife of Alexander (Sandy) Millar for 44 years. Deeply loved mother to sons David Halbert (Terry) and Douglas Halbert (Isabella). Cherished Grandma to Joshua (Melissa), Christine (Andrew), Alexandra (Sheldon), Michael (Kayla) and Madeline. Special Great Grandma to Drea, Taylor and Stella.

Heather is survived by her siblings Michael (Shirley), Linda, Dan, Tim (Beth) and Shelly. Pre-deceased by her sister Carol (Cookie). Heather will be fondly remembered by everyone in her extended family across Canada.

For many years Heather owned and operated Eden Travel Services in Kitchener. Her passion for travel was always evident in the many loyal customers she helped, over the years, fulfill their travel dreams.

A special thank you to Shelly, Heather’s youngest sister (or sometimes daughter), for all of her love, care and assistance over these past few weeks. It was profoundly appreciated by Heather and her family.

Further, the family would like to thank all the members of Heather’s care team at the Kingsdale community at Winston Park (Schlegel Villages).

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Heather’s life will be held by the family and will be announced at a later date.
