Mr. Gerhard Otto Schade

Schade, Gerhard Otto: peacefully after a brief illness at Grand River Hospital on Monday July 29, 2013 at the age of 83. Loving and caring husband to Frieda for 57 Years. Father to Klaus Schade (Pam) and Petra Kraiczi (Wolfgang). Opa will be fondly remembered by his grandsons Mike and Jake, his sisters and brothers in law and their families in Canada and the U.S. Predeceased by his parents Otto and Ida Schade and his sister and step siblings in Germany. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St. Kitchener, on Thursday August 1, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 47 Sheldon Ave. N. Kitchener on Friday August 2, 2013 at 11am with Rev. Aaron Rubach officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
