Liz was the beloved wife of Roger for 56 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and memories. She was a devoted mother to Robert (Julie) and Christoph (Michelle), and a proud Oma to Logan and Kai, who were the light of her life.
She will be deeply missed by many family members and friends who were fortunate to know her warmth, generosity, and kindness. Liz was predeceased by her sister Anna and her brother Erwin.
In her lifetime, Liz had a passion for travel and cherished her time boating on the beautiful waters of Georgian Bay. She loved the outdoors, whether hiking through nature or spending time with family and friends. A talented cook, she enjoyed preparing meals for her loved ones, always with a caring touch. Throughout her life, Liz took great pride in caring for her husband and sons, ensuring their happiness and well-being. Liz spent many years working at Unitron Industries.
The family extends a special thank you to the compassionate staff at Lanark Heights for their exceptional care and kindness during Liz’s time with them.
Liz’s love and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive family and friends for visitation at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 10 am until time of service at 11 am. Burial to take place at Williamsburg Cemetery at a later date.
