Eileen Marie Parliament

Eileen was born December 8, 1928 and died June 5, 2015, to her parents Anders and Marie Rasmussen. She was born in Winnipeg and went to the University of Winnipeg, and also obtained a C.P.A. degree. In Kitchener she worked at Budd Automotive as Secretary Treasurer. She then joined Woodbridge Foam until retiring. She was very active in numerous, businesses and charities filling the position of president and treasurer of many. These organizations included Lutherwood, Y.M.C.A., Conestogoa College, The Hearing Society, Trinity Village, which was her final home and where in it’s beginning she was treasurer, Lutheran Life (now Faith Life), where she was president, and Mary’s Place. She was the first woman to join F.E.I. (Financial Executive Institution). A charter member and president of the KW Zonta and was awarded Oktoberfest Woman of the Year. She was a proud member of Erbsville St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Eileen was an only child, and will be missed by her may friends especially Onh and Roland Eberle, Vanessa and her mother Fernanda Jubenot, Elaine Weber, Joyce Dietrich and Ida her birthday twin in Denmark. At Eileen’s request cremation has taken place and interment will be with her parents in Winnipeg. If wished donations to the KW Humane Society would be appreciated.
