Passed away peacefully with loved ones nearby on April 13, 2014 at the age of 89. Predeceased by wife Doreen, son Eddie and infant daughter Mary with whom he is now reunited. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Mark (Sheri), David, and Lynn-Marie (Tony). Ed was the last survivor of 9 siblings. He is survived by 2 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ed served in the war as a rear-gunner. He worked over 50 years at Eatons until his retirement. At Ed’s request no visitation or services will take place. Cremation has taken place. Donations to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southwestern Ontario or St. Agatha Carmelite Monastery would be appreciated by the family.
