Dorothy spent her career with the Waterloo Board of Education, primarily as secretary at Doon Public School. She was an avid knitter to the end while she previously enjoyed golfing and curling with her husband, Bob. She loved her volunteer work at Grand River hospital for over 25 years. She is predeceased by her son Steven Lidstone, first husband Robert Franklin Lidstone, her twin sister Daisy McCullough as well as her second husband Norman Robinson. Loving mother to Janet (Peter) Atkinson and Ann (Dave) Penfield. Adored Grandmother to Matthew (Jamie), Melanie (Dave), Leah (Jason) Eric, Gregory (Christine) and Steven (Kate) as well as Great Grandmother to Taya, Jeremy, Peyton, Haelan, Dorian, Brayden, Sylas, Abigail, Sebastian and Madison and Isla. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and also to her extended family Donna (Chris) Masterson, Noreen (Barrie) Faulkner and Brian (Rachelle) Robinson. Cremation has taken place. Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, on Saturday, July 30, 2022, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
