I have known Don for almost 30 years. We went through many highs and lows together. Though the highs were great it was the lows that made him a great friend.

So very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to the whole family. We just met Don 2 weeks ago at my sister's funeral. He was such a nice man.

I met Don 30yrs ago, we sure had alot of fun in those days!  We reconnected a few times through the years, again recently.  One thing about him, time could pass, but, when you seen him again it was like no time had passed at all.  My condolences to all who were close to him, his family, his freinds, and special thoughts for his little buddy Andrew, he loved you all dearly

Even though we had such a short time together in your own way you touched my heart with your smile, your laugh and your carefree nature. You could be serious but it was that carefree nature that made me feel good. You had that affect on most people who came in contact with you. You will be truly missed by a great many people. Your death was a tragedy but your life a celebration to be cherished amongst the people who cared for you so much. I will truly miss our time together but will never forget. I had the pleasure of meeting Don four years ago and I couldn't have met a nicer man.  He was always smiling and joking.  You could never be in a bad mood with Don around.  I was lucky to have known him.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends.

Great to have known you. A big guy with a huge heart.

Don began as a work acquaintance; Duane and Him put power to our first two lines here at my factory in west end Kitchener. The work relationship quickly changed to a friendly one as we got together to celebrate life on more than one occasion.
The thing I'll remember most about Don was that he always put everyone else's happiness before his own: he seemed to have the most fun when he knew that everyone else was!
Don was halfway through finishing my basement project...his memory will always be in my rec-room!!
We will miss you buddy...thanks so much for all the good times!

After knowing Don for years (but never meeting) I had the great honor of meeting him in person last summer . We quickly realized how many years we knew each other but had never met . Don was a great person and it is a great loss to society without his presence . My condolences go out to his family .   Andrew
