The beloved mother of Debbie Da Costa and Abby Salb. Dear grandmother of Wesley, Brenna, Jordan, and Hayley. Predeceased by her brothers Walter and Viktor Beck.
After years of working hard to support and raise her two daughters, Diana finally retired. Her passion became her treasured grandchildren whom she loved to spend time with and who adored her endlessly.
Diana enjoyed visiting her family, especially her brothers Victor and Walter for yearly summer holiday adventures in Germany. She spent time creating beautiful needlepoints, playing cards with friends and looked forward to milestone family celebrations, always having many stories to tell.
Diana was always taking many pictures with her camera at every opportunity, capturing all special moments in duplicate and triplicate.
In her final years she lived at the Westmount Long Term Care home surrounded by the caring support of the wonderful nurses, caregivers, and staff.
Diana will forever be remembered by her family and friends for her larger than life personality and her great love for her family.
Rest in peace with the angels Mom. Also lovingly known as Grandma, Nanni, Tante Tina and Lady Di.
Diana's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 12:30 - 1:15 p.m., where the funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in Williamsburg Cemetery.
