Cicely Douglas Wallace Jones

Predeceased by her loving husband Ken Jones (1999). Mother to Wendy (John) Lennie, Grandmother to Andrew (Andrea) Lennie, and Christine (Chad) Roy. She will be greatly missed by her Great Grandchildren; Hayden, Connor, Ruby, Violet, Mackenzie and Logan, who were her pride and joy. Will be fondly remembered by relatives and friends here in Canada, The UK and Thailand.

Cicely was a long time member at the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Kitchener, Ontario. She enjoyed golfing, knitting, reading and travelling. She was well known for her big contagious smile that would light up a room.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all of the Nurses, Doctors, staff, and volunteers at Providence Care Palliative unit. Dr. Polle, Karen, Steph, Angela, and Geoffrey were among the primary caregivers that helped our family navigate through this extremely difficult time with unwavering support and dedication to Cicely's care. Words can’t express our gratitude.

At Cicely’s request there will be no funeral service. A private interment will take place in the Spring. In lieu of flowers donations to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Providence Care Palliative Unit) in memory of Cicely Jones would be greatly appreciated.
