Passed away peacefully at the Westmount Retirement Community on October 1, 2019 at the age of 93. Loving husband to the late Margaret (Strub) McEvoy (2009). Dearest father to Gail (Gary) Rains, Bill McEvoy, Peggy (Wayne) Marlatt, Charleen (Paul) Berkers, the late John McEvoy (1960) and the late Brenda Pardoe (2009). Grandfather of Kim, Cameron, Charlie, Erin, Ryan, Greg, Stephanie, Kevin, Kelvin and the late Franklin (1970). Great grandfather of 11 and great-great grandfather of one. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Alice of Ottawa.
Charlie retired as a Justice of the Peace for the Province of Ontario. He was a highly active member within the community and church. Friends and family are invited to share their memories at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Thursday, October 3 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, October 4 at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 305 Laurentian Drive, Kitchener with burial to follow.
