Charles "Kerry" Barnum

November 7, 1937 – October 26, 2013

Kerry stepped into the Lord’s presence on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, after living with cancer for several months. He will be ever missed by his wife of 50 years, Anna (Watkinson), daughters Allie Barnum and Andrea McEvoy, son-in-law Steven, grandchildren Abby, Liam and Zoey McEvoy all of Waterloo. Remembered with great love for his easy-going ways, generous nature, sense of humour and quick mind (“ask Kerry, he’ll know”) by brother Vin Greco (Sue) and sister Peggy Greco (Simon Muise) of Sault Ste. Marie, brother Michael Greco (Patty) of Ottawa, sister Kate Greco (Kerstin Brandt) of Toronto, sister-in-law Mary Guillaume (Lucien) of St. Jacobs and Susy McLean (Ken) of Sault Ste. Marie. Many nieces and nephews also fondly remember Uncle Kerry. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Gene and Margaret Greco of Sault Ste. Marie; Chuck Barnum.

After graduating from Michigan Technological University in Business, Kerry spent most of his working life with natural gas companies in Nebraska, Iowa, Alberta and Ontario. If there is golf in heaven, Kerry will be ready to play! Kerry is in the care of Westmount Funeral Chapel, Kitchener, where a memorial visitation will take place Tuesday, Oct 29 from 7-9pm; 1001 Ottawa St. S, Kitchener. There will also be visitation at Waterloo Pentecostal Assembly, 395 King Street North, Waterloo, from 10-11am, Wednesday, Oct 30, followed by a memorial service with Pastor Marshall Eizenga officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to WPA building Fund, Freeport Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Lisaard House, would be a blessing to many.
