Born in Corpus Christi, TX, on November 7th, 1947, he spent his childhood in the Florida Panhandle, where he was an avid beachgoer. After graduating from the University of Florida, he dedicated his career to civil service, supporting public housing agencies before retiring to Florida in 2016.
Samuel is predeceased by his wife, Nancy, and is survived by his four children: Scott, Benjamin, Elizabeth, and Catherine, as well as his granddaughter, Kathryn.
A memorial service will be held at Northwest Church in Orlando on Sunday, April 6th, at 3 p.m.
