Michael Thomas Allen, 36 of Kissimmee, passed away on March 5, 2014. Along with his wife Heather who loved him dearly Michael is survived by four beautiful children, sons Noah and Jonah and stepchildren Micaila and Caleb. He is also survived by; Mother, V’Ann and stepfather Ron Kostick; Father, George and stepmother Cindy Allen; Sisters, Christi Allen and Rilee Kostick; “Merry Grandma” Pylyp and Grandma Cathy Egan; and many Family and Friends that will miss him dearly.
Michael was born on March 3, 1978 in Brooklyn, New York to George Allen and V’Ann Kostick. He traveled the world and lived in many places as his father was in the Army. He settled as an adult in Nashville, Tennessee and Kissimmee, Florida, where he currently resided with his wife and children. Michael served in the United States Navy and Graduated from Nashville Auto-Diesel College, where he became an ASE master certified diesel mechanic.
He was involved with Cub Scouts for many years as a Scoutmaster and Den Leader of pack 800, and was involved in all his children's activities from scouts to cheer, baseball and hockey. According to his children, he was selfless, caring, loving, humorous, thoughtful, supportive, kind-hearted, devoted, friendly, gentle, generous, smart, nice, funny, good looking, had a love for watches, and was the Best Dad Ever!
Michael was a friend to all, always had a quick smile and helping hand. Please come and show your love for our bright star who has moved on to heaven and awaits us with a big smile open arms.
Family will receive friends at Grissom Funeral Home on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 10:00am until 11:00am. The Funeral Service will Begin at 11:00am, with Deacon Manny Lacsamana officiating. Refreshments will be served following the Service.
