Maureen F. (Frawley) Murphy, age 66, went home to be with her Lord and Savior with her sisters by her side, on Monday, April 16, 2012. Maureen was born in New Britain, Connecticut, on January 27, 1946 to John and Dorothy (Warnat) Frawley. She married Freeman J. Murphy in July of 1986, at Highland Lake, in Winsted, Ct. After the wedding ceremony, they journeyed across the lake in a canoe. They were married for 17 years before Freeman’s passing in 2003. Maureen worked as a reservationist for Disney for over 20 years. She will be missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. She is survived by her brother, Richard (and his wife, Margaret) Frawley, of Windsor Locks, Ct; her sisters, Lorraine (and her husband, Ferinando) Gentile, of Barkhamsted, Ct, and Kathleen (and her husband, Donald) Murphy, Sr., of Southington, Ct.
The family will be having a Memorial Services at a later date.
