MRS. MARYANNE B. THOMAS, 87, Orlando, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was a retired legal secretary. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she then moved to Portage County and graduated from Paris Township (Wayland) where she met her husband, Richard B. Thomas. They lived in Newton Falls, Ohio for over 50 years and retired to Central Florida in 1987. She enjoyed gardening, walking, going to Seniors First and writing letters to dear friends.
Her husband, Richard (Dick) B. Thomas, preceded her in death in 1993, as well as, her brothers, Eugene Evanoff, Donald Evanoff, and Jerry Evanoff and her sister, Valerie Evanoff.
Survivors: Brother, Lawrence Evanoff, High Springs, FL; son, Wayne Thomas, Newton Falls, OH; daughters, Sally Trembath, Lordstown, OH; and Patricia Rawlings, Orlando, FL and five grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A gravesite funeral is being planned at the Hawley Cemetery in Wayland, Ohio.
