Joseph Rossetti age 73, of Kissimmee, passed away November 21, 2012. He was born January 5, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Rossetti worked as an Executive Director of New York Shipping Industries Pension Fund. He was a WTC 9/11 survivor. Known to his friends at Solivita as “Walking Joe,” he could be seen strolling the community at any moment. At Solivita he was active in many groups including the Starlighters, Guys and Dolls, ROMEOS, The Solivita Theatre Group, as well as the bowling and billiard leagues. Joe was also an avid baseball fan who loved the Mets and made it a goal to visit ALL of the baseball parks. He made it to all but two of them. He is survived by his wife Cathleen; children Virginia(Patrick)Somers, Jeffrey(Jossette)Rossetti and Carolyn Hazeldine; grandchildren Kaleigh, Kelsey, Matthew, Vaughn, Alexandra, Gage and Callan. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched. A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 29th at 2:30 pm at Grissom Funeral Home.
