Carmen Rita Santiago, age 67, of Kissimmee, Florida entered into rest on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Carmen was born September 2nd, 1954 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Felix Torres Borrero and Hilaria Jusino Luna.
A member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Carmen touched many lives through her work as an ESOL Paraprofessional. She was also active in Osceola County School of the Arts (OCSA) and Hispanic Heritage and Candlelight Processional Ceremonies.
Carmen is survived by her husband, Angel Santiago; children, Liz M. Santiago, Angel E. Santiago, and Aixa Santiago; as well as her siblings, Leida Esther Torres, Myriam Rivera, and Felix Torres; her mother, Hilaria Jusino Luna; and eight grandchildren. Carmen is preceded in death by her father, Felix Torres Borrero, and her brother, Junior Torres.
A visitation for Carmen will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grissom Funeral Home and Crematory, 803 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, Florida 34741, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM.
A graveside service will occur Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Florida 33511.
