Mom

Seven months. Tim and Maria are going to Warwick to work on the new World Headquarters. You'd be proud mom, of all of us. I am on the Construction Group #1 the first you know me headfirst. I'm going to print this book and give it to you when I see you again.

Its been five months Mom and the pain lives on. I miss you greatly each and every day.  Dad's doing good, but I can tell he misses you as well. Tim and Maria moved in to help us out at least they are doing good. Amber well she seems confused I told her of your wish for her I hope she listens and appreciates the heritage you helped build but I never valued until you were gone. I love you mom till I see you again.

We will remember our darling sister with her warm and friendly smile. She was an excellent example of faith and loyalty.

She was the best Grandma. I remember when I was a little girl laying in her and pops king size bed in Michigan hearing the near by train. (Hence why I love staying by Midway area in Chicago bc of the trains) and I used to ask gram to rub and scratch my back with her long pink nails, till I fell asleep. And i remember playing with puzzles at her house. And eating bologna sandwiches with miracle whip (which I could only get at her house.) Ill miss her dearly. She was my gram.

Our memories of Sis Knopp will be cherished. She always used whatever energy she found for that day to make it to the meetings. Her loyalty and faithfulness to Jehovah is worth imitating. "All the people in your gates knew you were an excellent woman". See you in paradise our dear sister.  Our hearts go out to the Knopp family.

Though I wishI had gotten to know Betty better I know I will  have an eternity to learn more about her in paradise. She and Irv were such a loving and fun loving couple  I know Irv misses her deeply as will her childen and grand children
Irv and Betty were the grand parents all the young ones wished they had in Cynthiana. We never were able to recreate the Superbowl parties they had. They were truly hospitable we were blessed to know you.

When I think of Sister Betty Knopp..... I think of someone loyal, spiritual, supportive, witty, and dependable. Irv, we are so sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure getting to know you both in Cynthiana, KY. May all the wonderful memories of your wife bring you comfort at this time. Please send our love to Tim.

Betty knopp was a lady you don't forget. She lingers in my childhood memories as the grandmother I wish had had. She was firm and came off harsh at times when it was needed, but underneath the tough exterior was a big hearted loving woman who tried her hardest to direct the ones she loved in the right direction. My fondest memories of her include when I would spend the night at her home.... perhaps spur of the moment and she would not allow me to wear the clothes I had arrived in to bed. She would always affectionately lone me her long floral printed cotton nightgowns and scold me for even thinking of doing otherwise... as her granddaughter Amber and I tried our hardest not to giggle :) Betty made the most delicious lasagna one would ever have the opportunity to put in their mouth. Hands down the best! She would always make me my own little personal dish of it when ever she would make it. Even if she were visiting from Florida she would call and tell me to come and get my lasagna.
          Her and her husband Irv did so much good for the Cynthaina Ky congregation while they served there. They organized and had much to do with the repair of the kingdom hall itself and even paid out of their own pockets to help remodel. Their service and love still is recognized and appreciated to this day. My love and sympathies go out to her family. Hugs to Tim, Julia (Pam), Tim and Amber. 
     Betty you won the race. We shall see you again our dear sister.
