On Saturday, May 25, 2013, Joseph Andrew Yuhasz, beloved husband of Marion Yuhasz, passed away after fighting a courageous battle with his lengthy illness at the age of 79 years. The funeral service will be held in the Langbank Curling Rink, Langbank, SK., on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Barbara Wilkins officiating. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Suzanna Yuhasz; brother Charlie (Helen) Yuhasz; sister Helen Kochi; brothers-in-law, Martin Hoffer and Steve Kochi. Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 58 years, Marion; four sons: Joe, Doug (Lila), Anthony (Jodi) and Terry (Lorene); his greatest treasure are his seven grandchildren: Melissa, Tyler, Brody, Kaitlin, Ryan, Vanessa and Matthew; his brother John (Matilda) Yuhasz and his nieces and nephews. Joe took over the family farm in 1955 after marrying Marion. He drove the school bus for twelve years. He started working at the Langbank Co-op as the fuel truck driver in 1971 and later became the manager until retiring in 1992. The farm was sold in August of 2011 and they moved to Kennedy. Whether at the farm or at his new home in Kennedy many will cherish his memory and values that truly made his house a home.
