Joseph Stanley Albert Galinec

Joe was a beloved partner to Candice Fonagy. He is survived by Candice's daughter Bobbi Jo; his sons Daniel (Amanda), Ryan and daughter Carissa; grandchildren Kyden and Dean; siblings Maria (Brad), Peter (Barb) and Michelle as well as nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Andrew and Josip Galinec of Croatia; his parents Stan (Slavko) and Joan Galinec as well as Candice's mother Virginia Fonagy.

Joe was in the autobody trade and was proud of the long career that he had at Elite auto body until his struggle with MS made it difficult to continue this career. Joe was an adventure seeker all of his life and when his health enabled him to do so, he tried bungee jumping, skydiving, exploring caves in BC and diving off of the highest point that he could find and repelling down tall bulldings in Regina to raise funds for MS.

Joe had a love of travel, he was proud of his Croatian heritage and spoke often of the time he was able to travel to Croatia and meet family. He loved his motorcycle and snowmobile. He enjoyed quiet times as well, fishing and being at the Fonagy and Kish farms. He loved the fur babies that Candice loved to bring home, even the goats! Joe was an avid Roughrider fan, enjoyed time with friends, camping and fireworks. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it until physically he couldn't help anymore. Joe was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A celebration of Joe's life is planned for a later date in August.

Even the youths shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall.
