Wayne Hartman

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Fern Hartman; two brothers, Joe and Neal Hartman; two sisters, Jane Jones and Lee Kelly.

He is survived by his second wife, Dottie Robinson Shaffer Hartman; 2 daughters, Rhonda Hartman, Sherry Easthagen and husband Jeff Easthagen; Stepson, Henry Shaffer; grandchildren Amy Bazan and husband, David Bazan, Jeffrey Easthagen, Tanis Easthagen; step granddaughter, Hannah Shaffer; 2 great granddaughters, Brianna Flowers and Paige Bazan; Brother, Ken Hartman and wife Emma Hartman; sister, Ann Maples; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Porter. We lost an amazing special family man who made such a difference in our lives. Someone like him only comes once in a lifetime. He was a loving husband, dad, papa, pops, and friend to many who call him Wayne, but most of all Christian. He will be greatly missed and though we grieve now and know it will be hard without him, we have comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. We all shared good times and difficult times. He gave us memories to cherish. We were truly blessed to have him in our lives. We will forever carry his memory in our hearts. Now he is celebrating with our Lord. We looked up to him and now he is looking down upon us. Visitation was 6 - 8 p.m. Monday May 31, 2010 Services were 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Porter 1st Baptist Church

Interment followed in Brookside Cemetery
