Teresita Cruz Gogo

A memorial visitation & rosary for Teresita will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 PM , with the rosary service at 5:30pm, at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas.

Mrs. Teresita Gogo was born on September, 28, 1949 in Tamuning, Guam to parents, Jose & Rosa Cruz. She passed away on October 23, 2022 in Kingwood, TX with her family and friends by her side. Mrs. Gogo was a faithful parishioner of St. Martha’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching women’s collegiate softball and the Little League World Series. She loved her family very much.

Teresita, “Teri,” “Auntie Teri,” lived a faith filled and family life as a loving wife of 50 ½ years, mother to four children, grandmother to nine grandchildren, youngest sister to seven siblings, auntie to numerous nieces and nephews, and a friend to many. She graduated from the Academy of Our Lady of Guam. She volunteered her time at Santa Teresita Catholic Church (Guam) as the coordinator for the religious education program for years. Teresita worked at George Washington High School (Guam) for over 30 years at Administaff/Insperity for nearly two decades. She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and loved watching women’s collegiate softball and the Little League World Series, always routing for the Guam or Asia Pacific teams.

She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Joseph R. Gogo; daughter, Karla & Eming Borja (Tobias & Miguel) Guam; daughter, Shauna Gogo & Robert Soriano (Canaan, Zion, Hosea & Amata) Guam; son, Sonny & Mary Gogo (Koa, Kiko & Kainoa) Wisconsin; and son, Seth Gogo Vermont; siblings, Maria & Albert Quitugua - Guam, Rosa Hilgeman - California, Jose & Priscilla Cruz - Guam, Pacita & Peter Aguon - Guam, Victoria & Jose Perez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose & Rosa Cruz, Catalina Gogo (mother in law) Francisco A.(brother) & Alvia Cruz, Jesus A. (brother) & Juana Cruz.

Mrs. Gogo’s final resting place will be in Guam.
