Susan Hope Ruark

Ruark, Susan Hope, 39, of Webster, Texas, passed away on February 7, 2022. Born on June 14, 1982 in Bumpass, VA, Susan was preceded in death by her father John Ray Ruark. She is survived by her mother Sandra Dymacek Ruark Forinash, her stepfather Don Forinash, her sister, Sarah Johnson Ruark, her stepbrother Erik Forinash, and her stepsisters Kara Miller and Kristine Sumi. She was the granddaughter of Joseph and Beulah Dymacek of Bumpass, VA and Robert and Elsie Ruark of Indianapolis, IN. Susan graduated from Louisa County High School and Christopher Newport University. After working at BAE Systems in Newport News, VA, Susan moved to Louisiana and then to Texas in a career change to Industrial Construction Services first with Cajun Industries and most recently with Performance Contractors. Susan enjoyed travel, was proud of her career, and, following in her dad’s footsteps, was a lifelong Colts’ fan. She was loyal to her family, especially her grandmother Beulah, often traveling long distances to attend family gatherings.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Bumpass, VA with interment beside her father at Bethany Christian Church.
