Sammy Giammalva, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Nov. 23, 2011. He was born July 2, 1940 to Louis and Nell Giammalva. He retired from Delta Airlines and loved to fish. He is survived by his loving wife, Esther; sons, Damon (Laura) and Devin (Debra); grandchildren, Nikki, Jaymeson, Travis, Joseph, Josephine, Tilly and Samuel; siblings, Lynn Thomas (Joe), Paul and Patrick Giammalva and dear friend, Tony Cirillo. Rosary will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Home with a visitation until 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, Monday, Nov. 28, 2011 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 20000 Loop 494, New Caney, TX 77357.
