Ruth West Pritchard Nunnery

Ruth West Pritchard Nunnery, age 90, passed September 4, 2013. Predeceased by her parents, George and Ruby West, first husband- William F. Pritchard, son- Paul R. Pritchard, daughter- Claudia Jean Pritchard, second husband- Ray B Nunnery, niece-Paula West Dall and grandson- Todd Pritchard.

Survived by brother - George and (Francis-wife) West, sister- Wendylynn West Rivera. Granddaughters- Robin Roth Harless, Rorey Danelle Pritchard, Sondra Roth Swett, Heather Lynn Higginbotham and Courtney Leigh Pritchard. Five- nieces, Ten- nephews, 10- great grandchildren and 12- great-great grandchildren.

Ruth had a business degree and worked as a legal secretary. She worked numerous years in the travel industry being a world traveler. She visited many places around the globe including Africa, Egypt, Greece and her multiple trips to Mexico took her by way of Santa Fe, New Mexico close to the home of her favorite artist.

A lover of animals she raised Boxers, Akitas, African Pygmy Goats and is survived by her loyal companion Bart- the beagle.

She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church and volunteered for many years at the Memorial Herman NE Hospital in Humble.

Ruth was an amazing woman and was loved by many people. Her spirit and love will always be in our hearts.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 in the Chapel of Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
