Ron graduated from Grinnell College in 1956, with a B.S in Business and Economics. He immediately enlisted in the United States Army ASA after college. Serving 3 years in Okinowa
Ron returned home and spent his professional career in Banking and finance.
Ron is survived by his 3 children
Ann Small daughter, and his two sons Greg and Mike Berg. As well as Sister Molly Urfer. Ron was also blessed with 4 wonderful grandchildren
Ron loved spending time with his family, and was an avid reader of history and thrillers. He also loved great food from different regions of the world and loved to travel
We will miss his sense of humor and kindness. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends
