Richard Allen Reineking

Mr. Richard Allen Reineking, 78, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Richard, also known as Al, was born August 1, 1945, in Bloomington, Indiana to Richard V. and Virginia Reineking.

Al grew up in Indiana, graduating from Indiana University Laboratory High School and then received his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana University. Al served our country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Ubon, Thailand. He later had a long career in technology for Baylor College of Medicine and retired as Interim Vice President for the Office of Information Technology.

Al enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife of 56 years, Marcia Carter Reineking and his family and many close friends. Al also had a passion for traveling, Golden Retrievers, motorcycles and reading.

Al leaves behind his loving wife Marcia; his daughter who loved him dearly, Keri Reineking Boudreaux; granddaughters he adored, Faith Ashlynn Boudreaux and Lexie Grace Boudreaux; brothers he loved, Scott V (Connie) Reineking and, Kent L. (Paula) Reineking, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A service will be held at Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, June 6 at 11:30 am.
