Raymond N. Estrada

Raymond is preceded in death by parents, Pearl Nieto and Jose Estrada, brother, Joe Estrada, and son, Michael Estrada.

Ray is survived by his wife, Melinda Barron Estrada of Kingwood, Texas, sons, Joe and wife Erin Estrada, Raymond and wife Stefanie Estrada, Anthony Estrada, and Danny and wife Rose Estrada. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and seven grandchildren. Ray also leaves three brothers, George and wife Carmen Estrada, Gilbert and Gordy, Fred and wife Irene Estrada, and two sisters, Emma Alvarado and Virginia and husband Cal Arfman

Ray was employed with Continental Airlines for 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and a sports enthusiast. Every year Ray would join his friends for an annual fishing trip in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He enjoyed grilling during family events and being in charge of the remote control. Often-times, you could find Ray outside working in the yard and watering the driveway.

Those who knew Ray best know that he did love his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A celebration of Ray's life and all that he meant to us will take place on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingwood Funeral Home.
