Philip "Hap" Middleton

Philip "Hap" Middleton , 80, went home to be with his Savior on June 10, 2011. He is survived by his wife Joan Middleton; sons, Jeffery P. Middleton and wife Beverly and Gregory M. Middleton and wife Jane; grandsons, Joshua L. Middleton and wife Leslie, Philip B. Middleton and wife Randa, Daniel G. Middleton and Chase M. Middleton; great- grandchildren, Tyler James Middleton and Hannah Joy Middleton and his sister Nancy Wertzler of Milwaukee, WI. He is preceded in death by his parents and 11 brothers and sisters. Philip was born on April 14, 1931 in Burlington, WI to Earl and Anna Blaze the youngest of 13 children. After serving his country for 4 years in the United States Air Force and achieving the rank of Sargent First Class he became a Senior Engineer for AT&T. Before he became ill Philip enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was a true family man and would go out of his way to help anyone in need. Hap loved spending time with his kids and grandkids and always tried to stay active in their lives. A visitation will be held Sunday June 12, 2011 at Kingwood Funeral Home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and a Funeral Service will be held at Kingwood First Baptist Church, located at 3500 Woodland Hills Dr. Kingwood, Texas 77339 on Monday June 13, 2011 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations be made to “Chapel/Senior Adult Area Expansion” at Kingwood First Baptist Church.
