Michael Ray Proctor

Mr. Michael R. Proctor, 78, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away Monday February 19th 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Proctor was born April 16, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to Maxwell “Proc” and Jeannette Proctor. Michael graduated high school at Highland Park in Dallas Texas. Michael attended Texas A&M University and North Texas University and had a career in home mortgage lending in the Kingwood area. Michael enjoyed spending time with family and friends watching sports, golfing and playing cards.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his loving son, Marcus, and the joy of his life, Grandson, Kyan as well as many cousins, family and friends.

Michael was a member of the Clubs of Kingwood, Second Baptist Church and a dedicated Houston Astros and Texas A&M Football fan.

The Proctor family would like to show appreciation to Carolyn Proctor, and the staff at Novellus and Hospice that took care of Michael in his late life.

A celebration of Michaels life will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home, Saturday March 2 2024 at 2 pm. With a gathering of stories and laughs at Molly’s Pub Kingwood following the celebration of life.
