Mary Sue Morris

Mary Sue Mayes Morris - 80, went to be with Jesus on December 29, 2015 and was greeted in heaven by her husband, Jimmy F. Morris. She was born April 6, 1935 in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was the first child of William Thomas Mayes and Margaret Ellen Willyard Mayes. Survived by her children: David Payton, Kimberly Winkler and husband Fred, Elizabeth Melinder and husband Paul, Arlene Pepper, Kerry Morris and wife Julie, Karen Helveston and husband Fredrick, Margie Morris and Carl Morris. She was the beloved sister to Sarah Bryski, Sherman, John, and Virgil Mayes. She was Nana to her 23 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and was dearly loved Aunt Mary to her nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers William “Buddy”, Forest Jacob, Steven, and Joe Mayes. Viewing will be on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 5:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Kingwood Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Kingwood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
