Laura Michelle Cowen

Laura Michelle Cowen was born on October 26, 1987 in Houston, TX and passed away April 23, 2010 at the age of 22. Laura was a 2006 graduate of Kingwood High School. Laura is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Henry Cowen, maternal grandfather, Charles Hill, maternal grandmother, Joyce King and is survived by her parents, Mauri and Jack Cowen; brother, Christopher Cowen; paternal grandmother, Joy Cowen; uncles, Ben Cowen and his wife Ann, Sam Cowen, David Hill and numerous other aunts and uncles; many cousins including Corrin Cowen, Melissa Cowen, Charles Lane, and Michael Cowen; numerous other relatives and dear friends including Whitney Cavazos, Jana and John McGurah, Jacob, Tyran and many other close friends who will dearly miss her sweet and kind friendship. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2010 at Kingwood Funeral Home. A celebration of Laura’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Kingwood United Methodist Church, 1799 Woodland Hills Dr., Kingwood, TX 77339 with Reverends Jim Welch and Judy Tefteller co-officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery.
