Larry J. Trepagnier

Larry Trepagnier of Humble, Texas suddenly passed away Saturday, Feb 11, 2017 at the age of 63. Larry was born on April 6,1953 in Galveston, TX. He attended Texas City High School and Sam Houston State University where he majored in Criminal Justice. He started his law enforcement career with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department on January 5, 1978. He joined the Houston Police Department on August 14, 1978 where he continued to work until his retirement in June, 2016. During his career with HPD Senior Police Officer Trepagnier was assigned to the Central Patrol Division and South Central Patrol Division. He also worked extra jobs at St. Luke’s Hospital, Blue Bird Circle and St Mary’s Catholic Church. Larry enjoyed his yard work, hunting and football. Even though his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys you could find him cheering on The Texans on a Sunday afternoon with friends and family. He looked forward to his weekends when he could spend time with his family. He enjoyed playing with his 4 grandkids every chance he had. Larry’s family was his life.Larry is survived by his mother, Frances Trepagnier of Texas City; sister Francel Leonard of Texas City; brother Paul Trepagnier and wife DeAndra of Dallas; two sons, Jeremy Trepagnier and wife Lindsay of Humble; Jonathan Boswell and wife Joanie of Seattle; Four grandchildren Connor and Tanner Trepagnier; Finley and Morgan Boswell, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Harold Trepagnier and brother Anthony Trepagnier. Pallbearers are: Joe Chouke, Mitchell Chouke, John Domingues, James Fitch, Billy Garrett and Glen Kahlden.

Honorary Pallbearer: Phillip Bell.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Kingwood Funeral Home. Service is Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11 am at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, 1604 9th Ave N Texas City, TX 77590. Visitation will be at 10 am at church prior to service.
