Karen Margaret Melton, age 75, of Kingwood, Texas passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Karen was born November 4, 1946. Karen worked most of her professional life in air freight forwarding, of which 15 years were with Kuehne + Nagel where she cultivated many friendships. In retirement, both good hearted and fun loving, she enjoyed the occasional trip to Louisiana for creole cooking and perhaps a few too many hands of blackjack. She is survived by her three children, Robert Melton, David Melton and Kevin Melton; and two grandchildren, Finn and Olive.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Karen’s favorite charity, the AABY FOUNDATION, which operates an animal shelter and low cost veterinary clinic for seniors and rescue groups in the area located at 24551 Loop 494 Ste 105, Kingwood, TX 77339.
