June Ellen Adams

Beloved wife, mother, sister, friend, grandmother and great grandmother. June Adams, 67 went to heaven May 11, 2018 in the comfort of her home, after a heroic fight with cancer. June resided most of her life in Kingwood, Texas. She spent most of her professional life as a Department Manager for Murphy Shipping in Houston, TX. June always gave to those in need and always saw the best in people. She loved her Yankees and Astros baseball and going to the Astros games, she loved her family, reading, and Chick-Fil-A. Her laugh could make a whole room of strangers smile. She lived life to the fullest and never backed down.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Dolores McBride, sister Carol Dunn, brother Kevin McBride, and beloved husband Barry Adams, and son Christopher Adams. She is survived by her brother Larry McBride, sister Peggy Downey and brother in-law David Downey; niece Megan Downey and nephews Eric & Danny Bedenis, as well as 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at 10:30am. St. Martha Catholic Church, 4301 Woodridge Parkway Porter, TX 77365.

Inurnment will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at 1:15pm at Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038. She will be greatly missed.
