John Edward Nicholson

John Edward Nicholson, 82, passed away on January 30, 2011. John was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church and of the Kingwood Country Club. He was a graduate of M.I.T. and worked for Shell Oil for 35 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet Nicholson, daughters, Kathryn and husband Michael Rinehold, Mary and husband Herbert Shriver and Laura and husband William Hanna, son, John E. Nicholson, Jr., grandson, Luke Hanna, sisters, Clare and husband Richard Collins, Aline Flynn and Betty Ann Marsland and brother, Paul and wife Jean Nicholson.

A visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9am until 11am at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Hwy. 59 N. Kingwood, TX. 77339 and a funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 12noon at St. Martha Catholic Church 3702 Woodland Hills Dr., Kingwood, TX. 77339 with interment to follow at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in John’s name to St. Martha’s Capital Campaign or the American Cancer Society.
