Dr. Jerry G. Simpson II

Dr. Jerry G. Simpson II, 83, of Porter, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 4, 1938 to William Gordon Simpson and Dorothy Jeanette Hunter. He was married to Belinda Willmon Simpson for 44 years. Jerry graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and went on to practice medicine for over 50 years. He was an accomplished physician, recognized in the corporate and international community for preventative and occupational medicine.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy, and his sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Goodrich. He is survived by his wife, Belinda; his four kids, Jeanette Jackman, Heather, Jason (Tracey) Simpson, and Jackie (Chase) Lookofsky; as well as his granddaughter, Madeline Jackman; brothers, William David (Deborah) Simpson and Richard Hunter (Rosemary) Simpson; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Contributions in memory of Dr. Jerry G. Simpson II can be made to Alzheimer’s Association (act.alz.org) as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 4, 2022 from 4:00- 5:00pm at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX. Burial will be held with the family on Saturday at Davis-Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, TX.
