The family will also have a memorial service at 3:00pm, Friday, March 10, 2023, with visitation one hour prior, at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita, Kansas.

Janet M. Mann, age 81, born in Wichita, KS passed away in Kingwood, TX on January 18, 2023. Jan was raised in Wichita, KS where she graduated Valedictorian of Maize High School. She went on to attend Wichita State University and was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. In 1979, she moved with her husband Herb and their daughters to Kingwood, TX.

Some of her most cherished activities over the years were: singing in the church choir, playing tennis, making stained glass artwork, playing the piano and guitar, singing with Sweet Adelines choir, playing card games, and volunteering at the animal shelter. She was known for her caring nature, quick wit, and love for dogs. One of her greatest pleasures was spending time with her grandsons. Jan loved her family and the numerous friendships she made in her lifetime.

Jan is survived by daughter, Denise Faulkner and husband Tom; daughter, Julie Mann-Jones; grandsons Eric and Kyle Faulkner and Mason Shade Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Mann. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Jim Mann; sister-in-law, Linda Mann; her nieces and nephews, Kim Legion, Mike Seeley, Kristen Piche, Susan Mann, Barbara Prater, David Mann, Randy and Scott Tewell, and Ryan Pozzi. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Erma Shade; her sister, Beverly Neil; and sister-in-law, Lois Mann.
