Gloria Ann Jackson

Gloria was born February 6, 1939, in Houston, Texas, raised her family in Mandeville, Louisiana, and became a long-time resident of Kingwood, Texas, thereafter.

Gloria was an excellent homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She had the gift of gab and never met a stranger. Gloria loved her church friends and playing Bunko with the neighbors. She was funny and outgoing, loved to tell stories, and was a friend to all.

Gloria Jackson is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Carl Jackson, her grandchildren, Heather Cox Brewster and Jacob Salvadore Liberto. She leaves behind her 5 daughters: Rhonda Ann Jackson of Kingwood, TX; Rhonda Carol Jackson of Sugar Land, TX; Sharlotte Rene’ Jackson Brian and husband, Bret, of Baton Rouge, LA; Carla Winn Jackson Guiher and husband, Allen, of Baton Rouge, LA; Jennifer Leigh Jackson of Kingwood, TX, and her sister, Elizabeth Nell Johnson, of Arlington, TX. Also, 10 grandchildren: Jonathon Carl Burleson, Brandon Scott Dickerson and wife, Melina; Erica Dickerson Courtney and husband, Thomas ; Keri Dickerson Taylor and husband, Josh; (Trey) Vincent Baiamonte III; Bret (Hunter) Brian II and wife, Taylor; Tara Rene’ Brian; Brittney Liberto McLain and husband, Troy; Rebecca Ellzey LeBlanc and husband, Earl; and Margaret Grace Ellzey. Also, 10 great-grandchildren: Blake, Aubree, Adelynn, Addie, Norah, Sunnie, Barrett, Sylus, Jenna, Bella, and a host of nephews, cousins, and friends.

Gloria will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Kingwood Medical Center and Charles at Altus Hospice who took great care of her in her final days of life.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, Texas 77339. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339. A reception will occur Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 11:15 to 1:00 PM, 22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
