He worked in every region of the company providing design and construction management. He was the best in the company at design review, specifically as it relates to constructability and quality control. He planned to retire with his loving wife and best friend, Jackie, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, surrounded by beautiful forests to photograph, and new patrons for his delicious home-cooked dishes.
George also pursued charity work, supporting such charities as Habitat for Humanity. He designed an orphanage in Uganda, as a part of his ongoing work with his brother’s charity, One Million Wells, from its early stages, and intended to spend much of his retirement doing further work for the charity.
