brother Bill Womack, two of her sisters, Edith Johnson of Alice, TX and Venita Resnik of Poplar Bluff.
She is survived by her sister Betty White of Little Rock, AR, her husband H. Darrell DuBois. They were wed for over 39 years. She is also survived by her children, Debbie Rock of MO, Jo DuBois of Kingwood TX, Steve DuBois of Wentzville, MO and Tammy DuBois Stanford of Kingwood, TX. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jane loved theater, especially musicals. Opera, Glenn Miller Band, watching westerns and cheering on her St. Louis Cardinals. She was in love with the beauty of nature and animals. Always up for a Zoo trip and a picnic, any day of the week. Her love of nature, especially flowers, clearly passed on to all four of her children. Each of them exploring everything from farming, horses, travel east to west and south, and lots, and lots of flowers.
Her work ethic was instilled by her parents, Lucy and Jim Womack. Her love of entertaining without a doubt from growing up with parents whom she said, “Were good and kind to everyone. Everyone was welcome at their house, especially for Sunday dinner.” It is a family trait, no one leaves hungry. She treasured her childhood memories with her family and shared great stories of growing up with her sisters and brother. After Sunday dinner, there was always homemade ice cream, fudge, pie or cakes. Her favorite food though was biscuits and gravy. She wanted nothing more than to make everyone happy. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her husband, Darrell.
How could we not mention some of her other greatest loves? Shopping-never let a perfectly good coupon go to waste. Save that box-any size or shape, you might need it later. She was so funny without even knowing it, keeping us in stitches.
