David Clarence Todd, 90, went home to his Lord and Savior, and to a joyous reunion with his wife, on March 8, 2025. Dave was born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, to the late Waymon and LaVaughn Todd. He worked for J&L Steel for many years while living in Clearview Estates. He attended the Crestmont Missionary Alliance Church, serving the congregation in many ways. Upon retirement, Dave and Jean moved to Houston, Texas, in 1988 to be close to his daughter, Debra, and grandson, Michael. Dave was Mike’s grandpa and best friend. Dave told great stories, loved to make people laugh, and delighted in speaking about his personal relationship with Jesus. He also loved a good plate of Texas BBQ.
Dave married Jean (Radut) in 1952 and remained devoted to her even after her untimely death. Dave is preceded in death by his parents, Waymon, and LaVaughn, his wife, Jean, his daughter, Debra Waller, and his siblings Waymon (Junior), Ed, Paul, and Betty Whisner. Surviving Dave are his grandson, Michael Waller, sisters-in-law Evelyn Todd and Renee Tomochek, and many nieces and nephews. We will all miss Dave’s grin and his big heart.
A private service will be held at TATALOVICH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, PA 15001.
Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa, PA.
