David B Strickland

David Boyd Strickland, Jr. was born September 23, 1953 to David Boyd Strickland, Sr. and Rose Mary Strickland in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Trisha Strickland, who never left his side. He is also survived by his father and step-mother Sandra; his mother; his devoted daughter Shanna Strickland Lumpkin and husband Brian; his son David Boyd Strickland III and wife Laura; his brother Donald Wayne Strickland and wife Leah and his sister Darlene Adele Causey and husband Steve.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Adele George Namee.

His greatest role in life was being Paps to his three granddaughters who he loved with all his heart: Gentry Claire and Landry Annabelle Lumpkin and Miriam Frances Strickland.
