Chris Anthony Trahan was born July 1, 1968 to Allen and Dorothy Trahan. Growing up, Chris wasn’t whiskey bent and hell bound – he was just hell. He was a cotton top kid and so mischievous. He wanted a variety of pets because he loved animals. Chris was not too fond of school, but earned his GED. He always wanted to be with the “big boys” on the shrimp boat like his dad and big brother Tneg, but was mostly in the way.
He married early at the age of 16 and was a hard worker for his family. He trolled with his father, but became an excellent pipeline welder. In later years, he finally got it all and married his best friend and soul mate and was finally complete. Happy and madly in love!
Chris was a great man who always had a smile on his face. He loved riding his Harley’s, drinking beer, playing pool and golfing. He was a member of the Tour 18 Country Club and Kingwood Cove Country Club. Chris loved being with his family and friends, and always enjoyed Sunday diner and playing cards. He always looked forward to having his annual Crawfish Boil (THE HOST WITH THE MOST), and also loved his dogs.
Chris is survived by his wife: Sheri Lee Trahan, mother: Dorothy B. Trahan, daughters: Lacey Claire Trahan, Heather Renée Trahan and stepdaughter: Heather Nicole Redyke, sons: Kenny John Trahan and stepson: Joseph Adam Redyke, grandchildren: Riley Cleo Robinson, sisters: Robin T.
